About us
Hello there! We're Claire and Akasha, two New Orleans based documentary and art photographers that have decided to collaborate on a handful of really special weddings each year. We're not your typical traditional wedding photographers. Rather, we approach each wedding like an editorial assignment, seeking to capture the most powerful moments and compelling details authentically and unobtrusively. We won't pose your bridal party in goofy positions, but we will make sure that the authentic joy and love of your day shines through loud and clear in each image.

Akasha Rabut
Akasha Rabut is a photographer based in New Orleans, LA and New York City, NY. She has a BFA in photography from the San Francisco Art Institute. Some of Akasha's clients include J. Cole, Nike, Aritzia, Bare Essentials and Budweiser. She has been published in Vogue, ESPN The Magazine, Bust Magazine, Accent, Barbara and Juxtapoz. View her work at www.akasharabut.com.
Claire Bangser
Claire Bangser is an editorial and commercial photographer based in New Orleans, LA. Her work is centered around human interest stories. In February 2014, she started the popular New Orleans street portrait project NOLAbeings. Since then, her work has been featured by a wide range of media, including The New York Times, TIME, Wired, The Atlantic, Glamour, Vox, Amazon's DP Review, Le Parisien Magazine and New Orleans Magazine. Claire leads trips every summer for National Geographic Student Expeditions, where she teaches filmmaking and photography to high school students abroad.
